At the 73rd Annual Elks Bowling League Banquet, President Red
Rhoades announced that the SYCAMORES won the roll offs this year
and were League Champions. Congratulations captain Scott Coyle,
Amy Holden, Warren Roberts, Kevin Kovach, Rich Keene and sixth
man Web O’Dell. Elected as officers for next year are Jim Flemming
President, Scott Coyle Vice President, Secretary Dennis Slifer and
Treasurer Russ Biehl. It was announced that $400.00 was donated to
the Home Association and $300.00 was donated by the bowlers to
three Elks Charities, National Foundation, PA Major Projects and the PA
Legacy Fund. President Rhoades in his opening remarks noted the
Willows, AKA “Beavers” the leagues first all ladies team finished in 3rd
place. A big “THANKS” to outgoing president Red Rhoades for his
many years of dedication to the bowling league!
